Nicola McHendry is a freelance heritage consultant based in central Scotland. Specialising in community engagement, she has developed a passion for engaging people from all walks of life in their community history; developing programs which provide a level of access and participation which reflects the rich diversity of our population. She is an advocate for the social role of heritage sites in bolstering community pride and shaping how local areas are understood and appreciated.
